AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.030 THEREOF, RELATING TO TWO- HOUR PARKING ZONES., AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION 10.44.030 TWO-HOUR PARKING ZONES.,” THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO RESTRICT PARKING TO A PERIOD OF TIME OF TWO HOURS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FORSYTH BLVD AT ANY TIME THEREOF FROM A POINT 67 FT OF THE EAST LINE OF ASBURY AVE TO A POINT 106 FT EAST THEREOF; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.030 thereof, relating Two- hours parking zones, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.030 Two-hours parking zones,” thereby amending said section so as to restrict parking to a period of time of two hours on the south side of Forsyth Blvd at any time thereof from a point 67 ft of the east line of Asbury Ave to a point 106 ft east thereof so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: 10.44.030 Two-hour parking zones. A. Between Six a.m. and Six-Thirty p.m. The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is restricted to a period of time of two hours between six a.m. and six-thirty p.m. of any day within the meaning of this title: Bland Drive: East side thereof, from Forsyth Boulevard to Northmoor Drive. Forest Park Avenue: Both sides thereof, from Maple Avenue to the east and west alley north of Maple Avenue. Julian Avenue: South side thereof, between the west line of Sutter Avenue and a point eight hundred (800) feet west thereof. Maple Avenue: North side thereof, from Sutter Avenue to Forest Park Avenue. South side thereof, from the west line of Sutter Avenue to a point forty (40) feet west of the west line of Sutter Avenue. Olive Boulevard: Both sides thereof, from Westgate Avenue to Ferguson Avenue. South side thereof, from Westgate Avenue to Sixty-third Street. Plymouth Avenue: Both sides thereof, between the west line of Sutter Avenue and a point eight hundred (800) feet west thereof. Riegert Avenue: West side thereof, from Olive Boulevard to Morgan Avenue. Sixty-Sixth Street: East side thereof, from Olive Boulevard to Chamberlain Avenue. Sutter Avenue: East side thereof, from Olive Boulevard to Bartmer Avenue.
