INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Wagner DATE: March 22, 2010 <br />9066 <br />BILL NO.: ORDINANCE NO.: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RELATING TO ZONING, BY ENACTING THEREIN A NEW SECTION TO BE <br />KNOWN AS “DIVISION 34-89 CLIFFORD ROW HISTORIC DISTRICT”; CONTAINING <br />A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City divides the <br />City into several zoning districts and regulates the uses to which the premises located therein <br />may be put; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission in a meeting held at the City Hall on February <br />24, 2010 at 6:30 pm recommended the addition of Section 34-89 to the University City Zoning <br />Code by adding “DIVISION 34-89 CLIFFORD ROW HISTORIC DISTRICT” <br />th <br />WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the 5 <br /> Floor <br />City Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:30 pm, ________________ , 2010, was duly published <br />in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City on <br />________________, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said notice, <br />and all suggestions or objections concerning said amendment of the Zoning Code were duly <br />heard and considered by the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 34 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to zoning, is <br />hereby amended by enacting therein a new section to be known as “DIVISION 34-89 <br />CLIFFORD ROW HISTORIC DISTRICT” which shall read as follows: <br />Division 34-89 Clifford Row Historic District <br />34-89.1 Historic District Established <br />1.There is established the Clifford Row Historic District, the boundaries of which are as <br />follows: <br />Lots 24, 25, 26, and 27 of Block 2 of Rosedale Heights Subdivision, a subdivision in St. <br />Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded March 4, 1886 in Plat <br />Book 2, page 60 of the St. Louis County Recorder’s Office, commonly known as 6663, <br />6665, 6669, 6671, and 6675 Kingsbury Boulevard, University City, Missouri. <br /> <br />
