<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Resolution 2010-1 <br /> <br /> A Resolution of the City of University City verifying their willingness to <br /> participate in a pilot project for double-decker buses in conjunction with the Brittany <br /> Woods Middle School Robotics program. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Brittany Middle School students are participate in the For the <br /> Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) LEGO League (FLL) a <br /> global robotics program for kids' ages 9 to 14; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the students are tasked to research and solve real world problems <br /> based on the Challenge theme; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS they have presented their research and solution to the City Council <br /> of the University City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council approves of their approach to dissipate traffic <br /> problems in the Delmar Loop; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of University <br /> City as supports a pilot project where in a double-decker bus would be utilized on City or <br /> County Streets within the City of University City and City property may be used for <br /> display if necessary. <br /> <br /> Passed and approved on the 4th of January 2010. <br /> <br /> <br /> Attest: <br /> <br /> y <br /> I erk or <br />
