ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON <br />CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW <br />SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN <br />STREETS AT ALL TIMES,” THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO RESTRICT <br />PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LOOP SOUTH THEREOF FROM <br />KINGSLAND AVE. TO A POINT TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHT (208) FEET EAST, AND <br />FROM LELAND TO A POINT THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY (330) FEET WEST <br />THEREOF; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions <br />on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking <br />prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as <br />“Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times,” thereby amending said section <br />so as to restrict parking at all times on the north side of Loop South thereof from Kingsland Ave to a <br />point two hundred and eight (208) feet east, and from Leland to a point three hundred and thirty (330) <br />feet west thereof; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br />10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. <br />The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is <br />prohibited at all times: <br />Alley between Kingsbury Boulevard and Pershing Avenue: For noncommercial vehicles, from the west <br />sidewalk line at Purdue Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet west thereof, and from the east sidewalk <br />line at Jackson Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet east thereof. <br />Alley North of Loop North: Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to Leland <br />Avenue. <br />Appleton Drive: North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a distance of sixty <br />(60) feet. <br />Asbury Avenue: East side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. West side <br />thereof between Forsyth Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard. <br />Amherst Avenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of Midland Boulevard <br />and Pennsylvania Avenue. <br />Bartmer Industrial Drive: Both sides thereof from the driveway servicing 6324 Bartmer Industrial Drive <br />to a point eighty-five (85) feet east of the driveway and to a point eighty-five (85) feet west of the <br />driveway. <br />Bartmer Industrial Avenue: For a distance of thirty (30) feet on both sides of the south entrance <br />located between the 6400 and 6500 block of Bartmer Industrial Avenue. <br />Big Bend Boulevard: Both sides, from the south city limits to Forsyth Boulevard, and from Lindell <br />Boulevard northwardly to Millbrook Boulevard. <br /> <br />
