<br />CITIZEN COMMENTS: <br />Wayne Munkel, 7543 Gannon <br />Mr. Munkel noted that previously there was money set aside yearly for purchase of new fire <br />vehicles but the last City Manager vacated doing it. Now we have two pumpers that need to <br />be replaced and a bond issue that failed. It looks like a bait and switch thing for the voters. <br />Now addressing the next City Council, Mr. Munkel said the City must find a way to buy this <br />equipment. Mr. Munkel thanked Joe for the time he served with him. <br /> <br />2. <br />Resolution 2010 – 7 <br />This resolution was the April 6, 2010, Municipal Election results of the Prop P bond issue <br />proposed by the City <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Sharpe and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />K. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />BILLS <br /> <br />L. CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mary Schuman, 7006 Maryland Ave. <br />Ms. Schuman was present to give a few words of thanks for to Mayor Joe Adams and <br />Councilmember Bob Wagner for their outstanding service to the City. She said that Joe <br />and Bob have always been kind, positive and gracious both in the official duties and just <br />as members of the community. Ms. Schuman said with the help of the City staff and <br />involved community members they have maintained the strength of the City. She stated <br />that Joe has served with the traits that are needed to build a real community: fairness, <br />hard work neighborliness, volunteerism, high expectations, compassion and personal <br />responsibility. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams thanked Ms. Schuman. <br /> <br />M. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Mr. Sharpe said he would miss Joe greatly. He noted that the only thing constant is <br />change and he is looking forward to working with the new Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the Council Sine Die at 6:45 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price, Mr. L. Michael Glickert and Mr. Stephen Kraft were sworn in as <br />Councilmembers for a term of four years.
