A Site Plan <br />Review is required because the new construction exceeds 1,000 square feet, new curb <br />cuts are proposed, and on site circulation is being modified, all of which require City <br />Council approval per Section 34-120 in Article 10 of the Zoning Code. The applicant <br />proposes to construct a 7,000 square foot single-story cafeteria addition which includes <br />a new kitchen, dining space, restroom, teacher’s lounge, and handicap accessibly entry. <br />The site plan also includes the addition of a parking lot on the south side of the school <br />building and modification of existing parking lots to increase the total number of parking <br />spaces from 28 spaces to 40 spaces. Other interior renovations to existing facilities are <br />proposed.
