<br />Roll call vote was <br />AYES: Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., Mr. Price and Mayor <br />Adams <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 8890 passed and became Ordinance No. 6852 <br /> <br />BILL 8891 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8.12 OF THE UNIVERSITY <br />CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO GARBAGE COLLECTION AND <br />DISPOSAL, BY REPEALING SECTION 8.12.200 THEREOF, RELATING <br />TO THE SCDHEDULE OF REFUSE COLLECTION CHARGES, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION 8.12.200 SCHEDULE OF REFUSE COLLECTION <br />CHARGES," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO <br />INCREASE MONTHLY REFUSE RATES EFFECT51VE SEPTEMBER 1, <br />2006, TO COVER THE COST OF PROVIDING THE SERVICES; <br />CONTAINING SAVINGS, SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING A <br />PENAL TY. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />Mr. McCarthy, 7101 Princeton <br />Mr. McCarthy questioned whether the pnce Increase was in accordance with the <br />Hancock amendment. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff stated that the actual cost would have to be included in the overhead <br />cost. Also yard-waste and mulch have to be factored into the cost. Mr. Ollendorff said <br />he would provide a full cost analysis. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval and was seconded by Ms. Brot. <br /> <br />Roll call vote was <br />AYES: Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., Mr. Price, Ms. Brungardt and Mayor <br />Adams. <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 8891 passed and became Ordinance No.6853 <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION <br />Introduced by Mr. Sharpe Jr. <br />1. AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC <br />STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS TRENTON AVENUE; RESERVING ANY <br />PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS; AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE <br />RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST.
