<br />SO AS TO INCREASE THE FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE; <br />CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />This bill became Bill 8898 <br /> <br />Introduced by Ms. Brot <br />7. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, <br />BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.150 THEREOF, RELATING TO LEFT TURNS <br />PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES BE KNOWN AS "SECTION <br />10.36.150 LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES <br />OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO <br />AS TO PROHIBIT LEFT TURNS FROM UNIVERSITY DRIV E ONTO HANLEY <br />ROAD FROM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY FROM 7:00 AM. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF <br />LAND TO BE KNOWN AS "739 HEMAN AVENUE CONDOMINIUMS" AND <br />LOCATED AT 739 HEMAN. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENT <br />Jon Galloway, 715 Limit Ave, #1 N <br />Mr. Galloway felt that this Heman Ave. condominium development would not fit into the <br />Loop's historic design intention with its outside venting areas viewable from the street and <br />its four stories <br /> <br />This bill became Bill 8900. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Ms. Brungardt wanted to have on record her final meeting statement. She thanked all the <br />citizens she represented for their support and felt that because of new personal <br />circumstances, she would not be able to devote the time needed to adequately representa <br />her constituents. She planned to be more with the City's boards and commissions. Ms. <br />Brungardt's departure letter stated that her final date as a Council member was at the end <br />of July 10, 2006. <br /> <br />Councilmembers and the Mayor spoke of their admiration of Ms. Brungardt's sincere <br />commitment and intelligent discussion and wished the best for Ms. Brungardt and her <br />family. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot, Mr. Sharpe Jr. and Mr. Price requested a Special Meeting to discuss the <br />replacement procedure which the Council would use in choosing a replacement <br />Council member for Ward Two. <br />
