<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION 2010 - 6 <br /> WHEREAS, a municipal election was held in the City of University City, Missouri on <br /> Tuesday, April 6, 2010; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said election was conducted according to the laws of the State of <br /> Missouri, the City Charter and Ordinances of the City of University City, and the rules and <br /> regulations promulgated by the Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following were candidates for the respective office as shown: <br /> <br /> Shelley Welsch Mayor <br /> Robert G. (Bob) Wagner Mayor <br /> Terry Crow Mayor <br /> <br /> Stefany Brot Councilmember, First Ward <br /> Stephen Kraft Councilmember, First Ward <br /> Cindy Thierry Councilmember, First Ward <br /> <br /> Jim Shemwell Councilmember, Second Ward <br /> L. Michael Glickert Councilmember, Second Ward <br /> <br /> Byron R. Price Councilmember, Third Ward <br /> Bob Davoli Councilmember, Third Ward <br /> Neva Taylor Councilmember, Third Ward <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, pursuant to Article IX, Section of the City Charter, the election <br /> returns shall be canvassed by the City Council at a meeting not later than forty-eight hours <br /> after their receipt by the City Clerk, and the candidates receiving the highest number of <br /> votes for each office be declared elected; and <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the laws of the State of Missouri, the City Charter, <br /> and the Ordinances of the City of University City, and the rules and regulations <br /> promulgated by the Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis County, the City Council <br /> of University City, at a meeting held on April 22, 2010, at 6:30 p.m., upon the certification <br /> of the returns by the Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis County from the thirty- <br /> seven precincts in the City of University City, and upon certification by the City Clerk of the <br /> results of said election held Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in the City of University City, and as <br /> canvassed by the Council of said returns of said election, and it appearing that the votes <br /> received are as follows: <br /> <br /> Number of Votes <br /> <br /> Shelley Welsch Mayor 3300 <br /> Robert G.
