Session 1734, Minutes 10 <br />November 2, 1998 <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. <br />Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mayor Adams. Bill 8408 became Ordinance 6190. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved that Council adjourn to Executive Session to discuss real estate and <br />legal issues at 8:36 p.m. in room 6 on the second floor of City Hall. Mr. Munkel <br />seconded motion. AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. <br />Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. <br /> <br />REPORT ON PARK COMMISSION ACTIVITIES: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman reported that the citizens that had asked to open the pool for lap time <br />thirty minutes earlier at 6:00 a.m., instead of at 6:30 a.m., were successful in their <br />efforts. The Park Commission did approve their request. The Park Commission also <br />approved the University City Junior Tennis League to reserve two tennis courts at Flynn <br />Park each Sunday afternoon from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. through May of 1999, towards the <br />goal of offering technical training to young kids. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams announced the next regular meeting for the City Council would be on <br />November 23Re, same time and place.
