GRDINANCE NO. <br />AN GRDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RFLA T1NG TO PA RKING RFS TR1C T1ONS FOR SPECIFIC S TRFFTS, B Y <br />REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RFLA T1NG TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON <br />CERTAIN STREETS A T ALL TIMES, AND FNA CTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NFW SECTION <br />TO BF KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS <br />AT ALL TIMES," THFRFBYAMFNDING SAID SECTION S4 AS TO RESTRICT PARKING ATALL TIMES ON THE NORTH S1DF OF LOOP SOUTH THEREOF FROM KINGSLAND <br />A VF. TO A POINT TWO HUNDRED AND FIGHT (208} FFFT FAST, AND FROM LFLAND TO <br />A POINT THRFF HUNDRED AND THIRTY (330J FFFT WEST THEREOF; CONTAINING A <br />SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENAL TY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL GF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking <br />restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof <br />a new <br />section to be known as "Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times," <br />thereby amending said section so as to restrict parking at all times on the north side of Loop <br />South thereof from Kingsland Ave to a point two hundred and eight X208} feet east, and from <br />Leland to a point three hundred and thirty X330} feet west thereof; so that said section, as so <br />amended, shall read as follows: <br />10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. <br />The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is <br />prohibited at all times: Alley between Kingsbury Boulevard and Pershing Avenue: For noncommercial vehicles, from the <br />west sidewalk line at Purdue Avenue to a point fifteen X15}feet west thereof, and from the east <br />sidewalk line at Jackson Avenue to a point fifteen X15}feet east thereof. <br />Alley North of Loop North: Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to <br />Leland Avenue. <br />Appleton Drive: North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a distance of <br />sixty X60}feet. <br />Asbury Avenue: East side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. West side <br />thereof between Forsyth Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard. <br />AmherstAvenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of Midland Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue. <br />Bartmer Industrial Drive: Both sides thereof from the driveway servicing 6324 Bartmer Industrial <br />Drive to a point eighty-five X85}feet east of the driveway and to a point eighty-five X85}feet west <br />of the d riveway. <br />Bartmer Industrial Avenue: For a distance of thirty X30} feet on both sides of the south entrance <br />located between the 6400 and 6500 block of Bartmer Industrial Avenue. <br />Big Bend Boulevard: Both sides, from the south city limits to Forsyth Boulevard, and from Lindell <br />Boulevard northwardly to Millbrook Boulevard. <br />Blackberry Place: Gn the west side thereof from Shaftesbury Avenue to Blackberry Avenue. <br />Bland Drive: West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. <br />Burch Lane cul-de-sac: From a point on the west side of the Burch Lane cul-de-sac forty-two X42} feet north of the drive in front of 1169 Burch Lane, extending along the north and east <br />sides of <br />the cul-de-sac to the frontage at 1156 Burch Lane. <br />June 21, 2010 L-1-5 <br />
