RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Decency Principles Project encourages fair wages, adequate health <br />care, affordable housing and safe child care, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, University City agrees with these goals for its citizens, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that University City will endeavor to pay <br />wages above poverty level and make adequate health care available to its full and part time <br />permanent employees, <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that University City will continue to encourage, <br />approve and sponsor the development of safe and affordable housing and child care for all <br />employees and our citizens, and that the City Council of University City encourages other <br />cities to adopt the Decency Principles. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this /~-~ day~~,1997. <br /> <br /> <br />
