<br /> MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR SESSION <br />January 24, 2011 <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, on <br />Monday, January 24, 2011. Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. In <br />addition to Mayor Welsch, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Mr. Stephen Kraft <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Mr. Terry Crow arrived at 6:50 p.m. Ms. Lynn Ricci was excused. <br />Also in attendance were Student Representative Rachel Sobotka and City Manager Lehman <br />Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />No changes were presented. Agenda carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. <br />January 10, 2011, Regular Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Glickert and <br />carried unanimously. <br />2. <br />January 13, 2011, Special Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Sharpe and <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />G. SWEARING IN <br />1. <br />Jackie Womack was sworn in to the Human Relations Commission <br />2. <br />Barbara Sydnor was sworn in to the Economic Development Retail Sales Tax Board <br />3. <br />Kathy McGinnis was sworn in to the Human Relations Commission in the City Clerk’s office <br />4. <br />Charlotte Sagi was sworn in to the Human Relations Commission in the City Clerk’s office <br /> <br />H. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (Total of 15 minutes allowed) <br /> <br />Richard Dockett, 6844 Crest Ave <br />Mr. Dockett thanked the U City ambulance service for the swift and excellent response he <br />received. <br /> <br />Willie Burns, 1150 Wilson Ave <br />Mr. Burns asked about the Wilson Ave buyout. Mr. Walker asked Mr. Burns to bring up the <br />subject later in the meeting when he planned on talking about it under the City Manager’s <br />Report. Mr. Walker stated that he had added an additional item under this report when he <br />became aware of the possibility of additional funds for the Wilson buyout. <br /> <br />Paulette Carr, 7901 Gannon Ave <br />Ms. Carr looked at job postings on line and then went to look at the City’s website and did not <br />see the same postings. She asked why the City did not have the job postings on the city <br />website. She handed the City Clerk all the information to the City Clerk to share with Mr. <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
