Ms. Greenberg described how VLAA and CALOP could develop
a partnership, i.e., VLAA could provide training opportunities for CALOP grant recipients. Ms.
Greenberg also asked that CALOP consider providing sponsorship/funding for VLAA’s website.
Mr. Nickels relayed interest in partnering with VLAA, but informed Ms. Greenberg and Mr.
Reeves that CALOP would need to discuss partnering/sponsorship further.

The commission heard from CALOP grant recipient David Noble. Mr. Noble plans to have the film
finished in mid-April.

CALOP grant recipient Brent Jaimes also appeared before the commission to report on the
status of his project, A Different Way of Life, which focuses on intentional communities. Mr. Jaimes provided a copy of his voice over script to the
commission and described communities which he interviewed (Karen House of north St. Louis)
and those he sought to interview (East Wind Commune). Mr. Jaimes plans to complete his film
by end of February.

Mr. Nickels informed the commission that Robert Tabscott was not available to give a report on
the film project Elijah Lovejoy Society.

After hearing from meeting guests, the commission returned to its regular business.

Mr. Nickels explained that, according to CALOP charter, officers should have been elected in
December.
