MelcineHenderson stated that they were well attended for the last concert. She stated that the Sound systemconcern (by a resident)was not reaching the back portion of the crowd. Tom McCarthy discussed thatthe bands are responsible for the sound system. The change to a new location was positive. Moving time up (6:30 PM) an hour was very good. Everyone is staying. Raffle announcement (7:30 PM) is the schedule. Changes in the schedule to 7:45PM – seem to work out better (sales increased and everyone stayed). Suggestion to change the time for raffle.Bathroom facility was good. The food was appreciated (left-over from the Festival). Discussion on the raffle and donations. Barb Santoro stated that we should provide clear information on A&L and that we are dependent on donations; although the money for the concert series comes from the city. City by: Julie Bianchi Discussion ensued on the event. This festival will occur again. A&L cost was small. We made money on the pianos (await Dan’s report). Art booth made about $400/500/600 approximately. The artists enjoyed it, publicity needs to be out earlier. Concerns on the present meetings for the next festival were discussed.Barb Santoro sees it next year as a sub-committee run event for each specificaspect. Next year’s Event is scheduled for June 4, 2011. Areas for the next event were discussed. The Park Foundation wants to celebrate the parks and involve groups. Claire Hyman will go to next meeting to discuss locations, shade and close parking. A&L has leeway as what we will do for the festival for the community. Tom McCarthy explained the Parks Foundation.
