MelcineHenderson stated that they were well attended for the last concert. She stated that the Sound <br />systemconcern (by a resident)was not reaching the back portion of the crowd. Tom McCarthy discussed <br />thatthe bands are responsible for the sound system. <br /> <br />The change to a new location was positive. Moving time up (6:30 PM) an hour was very good. <br />Everyone is staying. Raffle announcement (7:30 PM) is the schedule. Changes in the schedule to <br />7:45PM – seem to work out better (sales increased and everyone stayed). Suggestion to change the <br />time for raffle.Bathroom facility was good. The food was appreciated (left-over from the Festival). <br />Discussion on the raffle and donations. Barb Santoro stated that we should provide clear information on <br />A&L and that we are dependent on donations; although the money for the concert series comes from <br />the city. <br />Claire Hyman stated that we (A&L) be visibly noticed. City by: Julie Bianchi <br />Discussion ensued on the event. This festival will occur again. A&L cost was small. We made money on <br />the pianos (await Dan’s report). Art booth made about $400/500/600 approximately. The artists <br />enjoyed it, publicity needs to be out earlier. Concerns on the present meetings for the next festival were <br />discussed.Barb Santoro sees it next year as a sub-committee run event for each specificaspect. <br />Next year’s Event is scheduled for June 4, 2011. <br />Areas for the next event were discussed. The Park Foundation wants to celebrate the parks and involve <br />groups. Claire Hyman will go to next meeting to discuss locations, shade and close parking. <br />A&L has leeway as what we will do for the festival for the community. <br />Tom McCarthy explained the Parks Foundation. <br />Julie Bianchi and Barb Santoro will attend the next committee meeting for the festival. <br />++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ <br />Old Business by: Barb Santoro.
