A Board of Adjustment meeting was held on Wednesday, July 21, <br />1993 in the E.O.C. Meeting Room in the basement of City Hall. Cotton, Third Alternate <br />Case #2352 - Side yard variance for garage at 7222 Lindell, George and Vickie Iberra <br />represented by Cas Koziatek <br />Mr. and Mrs. Iberra requested a variance of §34-52.5(b) of the University City Zoning Code to <br />permit construction of a garage that will encroach 3.92' into the 6'required side yard at 7222 Lindell. <br />The variance was granted by a vote of 5 - 0. Mr. Harris did not vote. <br />Case #2353 - Side yard variance for garage and breezeway at 8162 Amherst, Haruka and <br />Ayako Watanabe represented Ralph Elgin Wafer <br />Mr. and Mrs. Watanabe requested a variance of §34-30.3(b) and §34-52.5(b) of the University City <br />Zoning Code to permit construction of a semi-detached garage that will encroach 1'6" into 15' <br />required side yard and to permit construction of a breezeway between the residence and the garage <br />that will encroach 3'6" into 15' required side yard at 8162 Amherst. The variance for the garage was <br />granted by a vote of 5 - 0. The variance for the breezeway was granted by a vote of 4 - 1. Mr. Harris <br />did not vote. <br />Case #2354 - Sign variances for a building identification sign for a building less than 100' in <br />height and a primary sign for a basement tenant at 6665 Delmar, Mark Shapiro of Louis <br />London, Inc. represented by Stephen Smith <br />Mr. Shapiro requested variances of §34-102.2 of the University City Zoning Code to permit a <br />building identification sign for a building less than 100' in height and a primary sign for a basement <br />tenant at 6665 Delmar. The variances were granted by a vote of 5 - 0. Mr. Harris did not vote. <br />Election of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson <br />James Harris was elected Chairperson and Joseph Brown was elected Vice Chairperson. <br />
