Hill, Zoning Administrator:Board of Adjustment Meeting <br />Section 34-66 of the University City Zoning Code requires that the minutes of Board of Adjustment <br />meetings be filed in your office. A Board of Adjustment meeting was held on Wednesday, <br />December 15, 1993 in the Fourth Floor Meeting Room of City Hall. The meeting commenced at <br />7:40 p.m. <br />Members PresentMembers Absent <br />Joseph M. Brown, Vice ChairpersonJames R. Harris, Chairperson <br />Mary TonkinGeorge R. Cotton, Second Alternate <br />Keona McMurry <br />Staff Present <br />Jay Sushelsky <br />David Neiers, First AlternateFrank B. Hill, Zoning Administrator <br />Tim Michels, Third Alternate <br />Case #2360 - Side yard variance for satellite dish at 6574 Corbitt, Mark Stigall representing <br />Claude Pleasant <br />The applicant's representative, Mark Stigall was not present and sent a substitute, Mike Berwin in <br />his place. Board members commented that Mr. Berwin did not submit sufficient evidence <br />concerning the applicant's hardship or the antennae's dimensions to property lines. The board <br />continued the hearing to the next regularly scheduled meeting by a vote of 3 - 2, in order to give the <br />applicant a second chance to sufficiently prepare the case. Mr. Michels did not vote during this <br />hearing. <br />Case #2361 - Right-of-way setback variance for a new commercial development at 7359 <br />Forsyth, Washington University represented by Steven Seagrass <br />Mr. Seagrass requested a variance of §34-35.6(c) of the University City Zoning Code to permit <br />construction of a new commercial development that will encroach 12' into the 15' required right-of- <br />way setback at 7359 Forsyth. The variance was granted by a vote of 5 - 0. Mr. Sushelsky did not <br />vote during this hearing. <br />
