Hill, Zoning Administrator <br />nd <br />Case #2407 (2)* - Fence height variance to erect a fence 7 feet tall at444 Melville, Michael T. <br />Momsen <br />* - Due to a clerical error two files were numbered 2407, the above case will therefore be known as <br />2407 (2nd). <br />Michael T. Momsen requested a variance of §34-61.4 of the University City Zoning Code in order <br />to erect a fence 7' in height, 1 foot higher than is permitted. The variance was approved by a vote <br />of 5 to 0. <br />Case #2409 - Development standard variance to sell used automobiles not in conjunction with <br />the sale of new vehicles at 8374 Olive, John LaClair of Bavarian Enterprises, Inc. <br />John LaClair of Bavarian Enterprises, Inc. requested a variance of §34-36.6(4) of the University City <br />Zoning Code in order to sell used vehicles not in conjunction with the sale of new vehicles. The <br />variance was approved by a vote of 5 to 0, with the following conditions: 1) No signs shall be posted <br />on the premises that advertise the sale of automobiles. This includes signs in or on vehicles or other <br />indicia that vehicles are for sale. 2) All cars for sale shall be stored in doors overnight. 3) This <br />variance is granted to John LaClair of Bavarian Enterprises, Inc. and does not transfer to any other <br />business. 4) The automobile sales business shall only be operated in conjunction with an active auto <br />repair business. 5) No exterior loud speakers shall be used in conjunction with the sale of <br />automobiles. <br />Q:\WPOFFICE\WPDATA\M-12-20-2000.ADJ.wpd <br />
