Hill, Zoning Administrator
Case #P040008 - side and rear yard variances for garage at 7109 Delmar
This is a continuation of a meeting from August 18, 2004. Robert Scruggs requested a variance of
Section 34-30.5 & 34-56.2 of the Zoning Code in order to tear down the existing two car garage and
replace it with a new two car garage that will encroach two feet into the five foot required side yard
setback at 7109 Delmar (the original request was to encroach 5 feet into the side and rear set backs but
after obtaining survey information the needed request was modified). The hearing had been continued
in order for Mr. Scruggs to provide the board with a detailed site plan or survey drawn to scale depicting
lot boundaries, the closet adjacent structures, existing and/or proposed construction, the actual subject
of requested variance and all driveways, parking areas and adjoining streets or other rights-of way and
also, to provide the exact location of the utility pole and its relation to the existing and proposed garages.
The variance was approved by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting “yes” (to approve the variance).
Q:\WPOFFICE\WPDATA\M-2005-03-16.ADJ.wpd
