Hill, Zoning Administrator
Case #P040023 - Extension of previously granted sign variance, 8684 Olive
th
Bart Beyers (of Beyer’s Lumber), 8684 Olive, requested a 180 day extension (from October 20) of a
previously granted variance of Section 34-106.2(4) of the Zoning Code in order to remove the existing
roof sign and instead erect a 22 foot high 59.5 square foot freestanding sign at 8684 Olive. The request
for extension was approved by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting “yes” (however, Ms. Straatmann
did not vote because she was in attendance as an observer).
P007024
Case # - Side yard and street setbacks for telecommunications tower, 8643 Olive
US Cellular c/o Cellective Solutions, LLC, 107 W. Pacific, 63119, requested variances of Section 34-
64.4(2)(c) of the Zoning Code in order to locate a disguised cellular tower (flagpole design) less than 200
feet from a property line in the PA District (10 feet) and less than 200 feet from a street (150 feet) at 8643
Olive. Due to an error in the notice publication which limited the subject matter of the hearing to only
the variance from the street, it was agreed upon by the applicant and the City to postpone the meeting
until October so that both matters may be discussed at the same time. Staff will re-publish a new version
of the notice describing both requested variances.
Q:\WPOFFICE\WPDATA\M-2007-09-19.ADJ.wpd
