Session 1747 <br />February 22, 1999 <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt, Mayor Adams NAYS: none. Bill Number 8413 passed and became <br />Ordinance Number 6194. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8414 - LEVYING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OR TAX AGAINST PROPERTY <br />IN A BENEFIT DISTRICT FOR THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT OF DELCREST COURT <br />BY REMOVING AND REPLACING THE STREET PAVEMENT, AND DIRECTING THE <br />ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL TAX BILLS. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved adoption. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Ollendorff said that it would not be a problem to go <br />ahead and assess this bill even though the owners have not dedicated the streets to the <br />city. There is a written agreement with the owners prior to construction indicating if they <br />do not dedicate the street, then the subdivision as a whole, through the trustees, must pay <br />the bill. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. <br />Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mayor Adams NAYS: none. Bill Number 8414 passed <br />and became Ordinance Number 6195. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />Mayor Adams asked for a motion to go into Executive Session following a short study <br />session in room 6, ,'? floor of City Hall at 8:00 p.m. to discuss personnel matters. The <br />study session will deal with certain city bridges. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the executive session. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. The roll <br />call vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. <br />Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Mayor Adams announced that the next regular Council meeting was scheduled for March <br />15, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Adams adjourned the rn,~eting at 7:55 p.m. <br /> <br /> ~ L ' a K.
