Moved by Ron Heise. Seconded <br />by Peter Steuterman. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />3.Church of Scientology proposal was discussed. Peter Steuterman raised a <br />question about attaching a canvas awning to an historic building. Representatives <br />of the Church of Scientology indicated that the proposed plan was in the <br />preliminary stage. They are meeting with the Historic Preservation Commission <br />to obtain their early feedback prior to submitting a final plan. The Historic <br />Preservation Commission agreed in principle to the proposed concept as <br />submitted. <br /> <br /> <br />4.6330 Pershing – Moved by Steven Palley that the proposal be approved as <br />submitted. Seconded by Ron Heise. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />5.Receptionist desk for City Hall – The receptionist desk proposed by Trivers <br />Associates for City Hall was considered by the members of the Historic <br />Preservation Commission. It was considered to be too modern, too expensive and <br />does not fit with the historic character and elegance of the building. The question <br />was raised of the possibility of a customized desk. <br /> <br /> <br />6.The meeting adjourned at 8:45pm. <br /> <br /> <br />
