Department of Community Development 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri 63130, Phone: (314) 505-8500, Fax: (314) 862-3168 Historic Preservation Commission August 24, 2010 (Rescheduled from August 19, 2010) Minutes Present Carol Schmidt, Chair Darlene Davison Lisa Frumhoff Jane North Zach Greatens, Planner – Department of Community Development The meeting commenced at 7:30 pm. 1. Minutes of previous meeting (July) were accepted. 2. 6675 Kingsbury Boulevard (Clifford Row Historic District) – The applicant is proposing to replace the windows on the front of the house. The Commission members concurred that the proposal was in compliance with the Clifford Row Historic District standards and regulations based on the material submitted by the applicant. A motion was made by Ms. Davison to recommend approval of the application. The motion was seconded by Ms. Frumhoff. The motion passed. 3. 6348 Washington Avenue (Parkview Historic District) – The applicant is proposing to remove and replace the front porch of the house. The Commission members concurred that the proposal was in compliance with the Parkview Historic District standards and regulations based on the material submitted by the applicant. The applicant stated they were also planning to paint the new porch to match the existing porch. A motion was made by Ms. Davison to recommend approval of the application. The motion was seconded by Ms. North. The motion passed. 4.
