Minutes of the previous meeting (October 21, 2010) were accepted as
written.

3. 6504 Delmar Boulevard (Blueberry Hill) – The project was introduced by
applicant Joe Edwards, property owner. The proposal is to construct a
150 square foot, one-story, screened porch addition to the east side of the
existing building. The proposal was required to go through the Conditional
Use Permit to decrease the right-of-way setback. The Conditional Use
Permit was approved by City Council on Monday, December 13. St. Louis
County has also approved the addition.

Questions/Comments from the Commission:
- The architects have done a good job in keeping consistent with the
existing architecture.
- The block on Westgate is a short block and is gated. There should not
be any issues with traffic.
- This property is on the National Register as part of a district, not the
individual building. It is not in a City designated historic district.

A motion was made by Ms. Ghasedi to recommend approval of the
application for 6504 Delmar Boulevard. The motion was seconded by Ms.
Davison. The motion was approved.

4. The meeting adjourned at 7:20 pm.
December 16, 2010 Historic Preservation Commission Minutes
Q:\WPOFFICE\Historic Preservation Commission\Minutes
