Disposition of Minutes of June 28, 2005 <br />Motioned to accept minutes as written. <br /> <br />Motioned by: Jerry Fitch Seconded: Mary Hart <br />Motion passed <br /> <br />2. Citizens’ comments on items not on Agenda <br />None <br /> <br />3. Council Liaison Report (Francine Brungardt) <br /> <br />? <br /> New City Clerk hired <br />? <br /> City Hall renovations continue, behind schedule and over budget <br />? <br /> Centennial Celebration committee needs volunteers <br />? <br /> Writing a new Resolution <br />? <br /> Chicken Ordinance passed <br /> <br />4. Fitness Equipment use by Teen Groups & Youth <br /> Ms. MacCartney gave a brief overview of the policy. Motion to accept <br /> <br /> Motion by: Carl Seltzer Seconded: Evelyn Irving <br /> Motion passed <br /> <br /> <br />5. Discipline Policy <br /> Ms. MacCartney gave an overview of the policy <br />Discussion: <br /> Mr. Sutton asked when it would be effective. <br />? <br /> Mrs. Irving suggested a discipline board be adapted <br />? <br /> Mr. Fitch suggested typographical and grammar corrections <br />? <br />Motioned to accept with revisions <br />Motion by: Charles Mosley Seconded by: Livingstone Sykes <br />Motion passed <br /> <br />6. Reforest Heman Pool <br /> Ms. MacCartney introduced Mr. Jim Crowe, Forestry Supervisor to the commission; he gave an <br />overview of his report, recommendations and a brief description of Combistat. He explained the <br />process the soil goes through and why not to replant. Recommendation accepted, Mr. Crowe <br />will submit another report in the fall. <br /> <br /> <br />7. Centennial Greenway Presentation <br />Ms. MacCartney gave a presentation of the Centennial Greenway and explained its purpose. <br />Phase 1: Inventory & Analysis <br />Phase 2: Conceptual, Distance & Routes <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />Mrs. Irving asked would a fence be installed near the water. <br /> <br />
