<br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Park Commission <br />City of University City <br />April 25, 2006 <br />Centennial Commons <br /> <br />President James Sutton called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Others present were: <br /> <br />Jerry Fitch Nancy MacCartney, Director <br />James Sutton Francine Brungardt, Council Liaison <br />Charles Mosley Tracy Collins, Administrative Secretary <br />Doyle Mitchell <br />Mary Hart <br />Evelyn Irving <br />Livingstone Sykes <br />Ted Smorodin <br /> <br />Absent: Carl Seltzer <br /> <br />Disposition of Minutes from March 28, 2006 <br />Mr. Sykes motioned to approve minutes. Mr. Fitch seconded; motion passed <br />unanimously <br /> <br />Citizen’s Comments on items not on Agenda <br />Ruse Balastarie wanted a shuffle board court. Ms. MacCartney suggested on be <br />placed in the soccer area. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Report <br />Ms Brungardt reported: Mayor is reviewing council liaisons placements; In fill review <br />board will have their first meeting April 25, <br />th <br /> <br />Tour <br />Canceled due to weather, will be rescheduled for next months meeting. <br /> <br />Residential Group Home Use of Centennial Commons & Group Use of Centennial <br /> <br />Commons Policies <br />Ms. MacCartney gave a brief description of the policy. Mr. Mosley motioned to <br />accept; Ms. Hart seconded the motion. Discussion: Ms. Irving wanted to know who <br />would be responsible for the group. After a brief discussion a vote was taken. Motion <br />passed with a vote of 7-1. <br /> <br /> <br />Department Report <br />None <br /> <br />Individual Park Reports <br />?Mr. Sykes reported spikes in the retaining wall <br /> <br /> <br />?Ms. Irving reported her parks look good; talked with Ewald about grass around <br /> <br />pavilion <br /> <br />
