<br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Park Commission <br />City of University City <br />November 28, 2006 <br />Centennial Commons <br /> <br />President James Sutton called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Others present were: <br /> <br />Mary Hart, Vice President Arthur Sharpe Jr., Council Liaison <br />Jerry Fitch Nancy MacCartney, Director of Parks <br />Livingstone Sykes Tracy Collins, Administrative Secretary <br />Charles Mosley <br />Doyle Mitchell <br /> <br />Excused: Evelyn Irving and Carl Seltzer <br /> <br />Disposition of Minutes from June 27, 2006 <br />Mr. Livingston motioned to accept minutes with insertion of the information discussed on <br />the tennis courts that was mistakenly omitted. Mr. Mosley seconded, motion passed. <br /> <br />Citizen’s Comments on items not on Agenda <br />None <br /> <br />Council Liaison Report <br />Mr. Sharpe reported: Council discussion on motivation of being on Park Commission; <br />Dog Ordinance; Marian Hall residence approved but some things are still unresolved; <br />Truck Ordinance shelved; Delcrest building sold by school board; MEAAA removed <br />funding for senior shuttle; Bag leaves free thru December; Red light cameras are being <br />considered; Dog walker carry poop scooper material; Car vehicle notice; Call *77 if an <br />unmarked police care stop you. <br /> <br />Winter Golf Special <br />Ms. MacCartney gave a brief overview of her memo explaining the offer. Mr. Fitch <br />motioned to approve winter golf special, Mr. Livingstone seconded. After a brief <br />discussion Commission voted unanimously to pass motion. <br /> <br />Department Report <br />Ms. MacCartney reported: Park Maintenance during an great job; Centennial <br />Commons one year anniversary; New projects to involve Commission members Golf <br />? <br />Course Teaching Center ( Mosley and Sutton) NE Neighborhood Plan (Hart) Youth <br />?? <br />Fitness Center (Livingston, Mosley, Hart and Doyle) <br /> <br />Individual Park Reports <br />All Commission Member wanted to give Kudos to Park Maintenance Division for the <br />good job their doing during the storm. <br /> <br /> <br />Old Business <br />None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
