<br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Park Commission <br />City of University City <br />February 27, 2007 <br />Centennial Commons <br /> <br />Vice President Mary Hart called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. Others present were: <br /> <br />Caryn St Clair Arthur Sharpe Jr., Council Liaison <br />Jerry Fitch Nancy MacCartney, Director of Parks <br />Livingstone Sykes Tracy Collins, Department Liaison <br />Charles Mosley Lynda Euell-Taylor, Recreation Superintendent <br />John Sternbenz <br />Karen Palmer <br /> <br />Excused: Linda Peoples <br />Absent: James Sutton <br /> <br />Disposition of Minutes from January 23, 2007 <br />Mr. Fitch motioned to accept minutes as written; Mr. Mosley seconded, motion passed. <br /> <br />Citizen’s Comments on items not on Agenda <br />None <br /> <br />Council Liaison Report <br />Mr. Sharpe reported: Parliamentary meeting will be held at Centennial Commons on <br />March 12, 2007 from 7-8 pm; data for budget approval is being compiled; AT&T; pot <br />holes <br /> <br />2007-08 Fees and Charges <br />Ms MacCartney gave a brief overview of the proposed fees and charges. Ms St Clair <br />motioned to recommend new fees and charges to Council, Mr Fitch seconded, vote <br />unanimous <br /> <br />Department Report <br />Ms. MacCartney reported: Mona Terrace clean up; Urban Forestry Commission <br />orientation; trails grant; Heman Park Olive side athletic field lighting grant; MOU with <br />Sports Association; Northeast Neighborhood plan; Centennial Commons youth fitness <br />area; Golf Teaching Center; USTA grant for tennis courts at Flynn Park; program <br />enrollment; budget <br /> <br />Individual Park Reports <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />Old Business <br />None <br /> <br />New Business <br />None <br /> <br />
