No dwelling unit shall be <br />occupied by more than a single family and any salaried employees who <br />regularly work on the premises in domestic service occupations as that <br />term is defined in the Directory of Occupational Titles published by <br />the U.S. Department of Labor. <br /> <br />and that Section 34-90 be amended to revise the following definitions <br />to read as indicated: <br /> <br />Attached Sin~le-Family Dwelling - One (1) of a series of attached <br />dwelling units located on individually subdivided lots of record. <br /> <br />Detached Single-Family Dwelling - A building containing only one (1) <br />dwelling unit and entirely surrounded by yards or other separation from <br />other buildings or adjacent lots. <br /> <br />Dwelling Unit - One (1) or more rooms designed for use as a single <br />housekeeping unit to be occupied by one (1) family for living purposes <br />and having permanently installed sanitary and cooking facilities within <br />the unit. <br /> <br />Family - One of these two (2) alternatives: (a) An individual or <br />married couple and/or the children thereof and no more than two (2) <br />other persons related directly to the individual or married couple by <br />blood or marriage; or (b) A group of no more than three (3) persons <br />living together in a dwelling unit as a single housekeeping unit. <br /> <br />Two-Family Dwelling - A building containing two (2) dwelling units and <br />designed for occupancy by two families living independent from each <br />other. <br /> <br />Mr. Rice seconded the motion which passed by a vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:33 p.m. <br />
