<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minute. <br /> <br />February 25, 1987 <br /> <br />The City Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the Emergency Operations <br />Center of City Hall on Wednesday, February 25, 1987, convening at 7:35 p.m. <br />with Chairman Esley Hamilton presiding. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br /> <br />Votin~ Members Present: <br /> <br />Votin~ Members Absent: <br /> <br />Esley Hamilton, Chairman <br />Arnold J. Adams, Jr. <br /> <br />Staff present: Al Goldman, Director of Planning; Sarah Elwood, Zoning <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />Chairman Hamilton opened the meeting by welcoming the Plan Commission's newest <br />member, Mr. Arnold J. Kendall. Mr. Kendall was appointed to the Plan <br />Commission to replace outgoing member Michael Kennedy. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Rice moved that the minutes of the January 28, 1987, meeting be approved <br />as amended. Ms. Schuman seconded the motion which passed by a vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT BY ATEC LIQUIDATIONS. INC. - 6504 OLIVE <br />BOULEVARD <br /> <br />Chairman Hamilton stated that Commission members had received Mr. Goldman's <br />comments regarding the application for a Conditional Use Permit by ATEC <br />Liquidations, Inc. in order to allow storage and parking of motor vehicles and <br />trailers on the property at 6504 Olive Boulevard. The memo detailed the <br />Commission's previous consideration of this application and outlined <br />suggestions for appropriate conditions of the permit. Chairman Hamilton <br />assured Commission members that the applicant had previously received the same <br />memo and information from planning staff. <br /> <br />Chairman Hamilton asked Mr. Peter Fanchi, the attorney representing ATEC <br />Liquidations, Inc. if the company had any response to or comments regarding <br />Mr. Goldman's recommendations. Mr. Fanchi expressed his concern over the <br />first recommendation requiring a twenty (20) foot wide landscaped yard along <br />the east side of the property.
