Metro Forsyth Station ribbon cutting <br /> WHO: The City of University City and Washington University <br />WHAT: Will jointly host a Grand Opening event at the Metro Forsyth Station <br /> at the Washington University-West campus (Wash U is making <br /> parking available on site). <br />WHEN: Saturday, August 26: 10:30-11:30 AM Train <br />HOW: The first train will arrive at the station at 11:30AM. <br /> After a brief dedication ceremony, 5 U-City ticketed riders will board <br /> the train. Public boarding will begin at 12:15. Trains will take <br /> passengers to LinkFest, a day-long celebration at the new <br /> Shrewsbury Metro Station. <br /> <br />We have commitments from area shops to display their wares and you will have <br />the pleasure of enjoying the UCHS band. <br /> <br />#2. Metro Big Bend Station—pedestrians only to celebrate the pedestrian nature <br />of this station, please. Wash U has also offered to provide parking spaces for this <br />event on the Danforth Campus for event participants if necessary. We have ten <br />U-City tickets for the first train which will arrive at 11:22 AM and go on to Forsyth. <br />We plan on the participation of the U-City Summer Concert Band to make the <br />ribbon cutting something special. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
