<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes - Plan Commission <br />Page 3 <br />August 23, 1989 <br /> <br />Ms. Kreishman proposed that a condition be added requiring that the north face of the <br />new bay match the existing building. <br /> <br />Mr. Rice moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the application for <br />amendment to Conditional Use Permit #192 subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. A landscaped strip approximately 10' wide shall be provided along Hanley Road. <br /> <br />2. Landscaping shall be installed and maintained in accordance with a landscaping <br />plan reviewed and approved by the Director of Planning. <br /> <br />3. Overnight parking of motor vehicles shall be limited to the area south of the <br />building. <br /> <br />4. With the exception of the storage of motor vehicles in accordance with Condition <br />'3, all business, service, storage and display shall be conducted within the bUilding. <br /> <br />5. Service and repair operations shall not be conducted after 8 p.m. on any evening. <br /> <br />6. Before a building permit is issued, a permit shall be obtained from the St. Louis <br />County Department of Highways and Traffic for modifications to driveway entrances, <br />street curbs and sidewalks. <br /> <br />7. The exterior finish material on the north face of the new bay shall match the <br />remainder of the north facade of the building. <br /> <br />8. All paving on the site shall be repaired or replaced as needed to bring the <br />surface into good repair. <br /> <br />Mr. Washington seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Safe suggested that the fifth Condition be changed to read: <br /> <br />5. "Service and repair operations shall be limited to the hours of 7:30 a.m. to <br />8 p.m." <br /> <br />Mr. Rice agreed to accept the revised wording as part of his motion which was also <br />acceptable to Mr. Washington who seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Discussion on Sunday hours followed after which the motion recommending the Plan <br />Commission's approval of the application to amend Conditional Use Permit '192 was <br />passed by a vote of 7-0. Chairman McCauley informed the applicant that their request <br />would be forwarded to the City Council for its consideration. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT '276-AGUDAS ISRAEL OF ST. LOUIS <br />AT 8202-04 DELMAR BOULEVARD <br /> <br />Chairman McCauley informed those present that the City Plan Commission had scheduled a <br />public hearing on an application for Conditional Use Permit #276 by Mr. Mayer S. Klein, <br />president of Agudas Israel of St. Louis, to allow the premises at 8202-04 Delmar <br />Boulevard to be used as a synagogue. The Chairman stated the Commission's procedure <br />
