<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />June 27, 1990 <br /> <br />The City Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the Emergency <br />Operations Center of City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, on June 27, <br />1990. The meeting commenced at 7:36 p.m. with Chairperson Melissa <br />Kreishman presiding. <br /> <br />VOTING MEMBERS PRESENT <br /> <br />Melissa Kreishman, Chairperson <br />Charles Foxworth <br />Arnold J. Kendall <br />Andrea Ratner <br />Carl Safe <br /> <br />VOTING MEMBERS ABSENT <br /> <br />Stephen Marsh <br />Booker T. washington <br /> <br />councilmember Present: Paul Schoomer, Second Ward. <br /> <br />Staff Present: Sarah Elwood, Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Safe moved that the Minutes of the May 23, 1990, meeting be <br />approved as corrected. Mr. Kendall seconded the motion which <br />passed by a vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #284 - <br />LIVING WORD APOSTOLIC CHURCH. 7740 OLIVE BOULEVARD <br /> <br />Chairperson Kreishman informed those present that the Plan <br />Commission had scheduled a public hearing on an application for a <br />Conditional Use Permit by Robert Buckner, Pastor of the Living Word <br />Apostolic Church, who was requesting approval of the Church's use <br />of the building and property at 7740 Olive Boulevard. The <br />Chairperson outlined the Commission's procedures and criteria for <br />reviewing the application. <br /> <br />The Chairperson first called on Sarah Elwood, Zoning Administrator, <br />to outline the church's history at its Olive Boulevard location so <br />that Commission members and members of the public would be familiar <br />with the request at hand. Ms. Elwood detailed Mr. Buckner's first <br />application for a Conditional Use Permit, processed in the Spring <br />of 1987. (See Plan Commission Minutes. May 27, 1987). The <br />application was recommended for denial by the Commission and <br />ultimately denied without prejudice by the City Council because the <br />
