<br />. <br /> <br />.UlcS - Plan Conunission, August 28, 1991 <br /> <br />The Chairperson asked for comments from the public. Bill Jennings, 7276 Lindell stated that <br />. when there was a cleaners in a nearby location there was never a traffic problem associated with <br />it. He stated that there is not any place to eat in that area and that he would welcome Imo's into <br />the neighborhood. Tom Jennings, 7055 Forsyth, stated that he had never had any problems <br />backing out onto Forsyth when a nearby location was a cleaners. He also felt that Imo's Pizza <br />would be an asset to the area. There was no further comment from the public. The public <br />hearing was closed. <br /> <br />The Chairperson stated that the premises is not convenient for parking because it would be too <br />constricted and difficult. Mr. Safe stated that he had no difficulty with the mixed use with the <br />boundary to Clayton, that there were similar establishments in that general area. He further <br />stated that problematic parking is an existing condition in that area. <br /> <br />Mr. Safe moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the Conditional Use Permit. <br />The'motion was seconded by Mr. Foxworth and passed by a vote of 4 - 2, with one abstention. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Mr. Safe stated that a citizen inquired whether there was any rules concerning the public art <br />work that is displayed and becomes eroded. Nobody on the commission knew of any such <br />regulations. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Safe moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Mr. Kendall and <br />carried by a vote of 7 - O. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br /> <br />6 <br />
