PLAN COMMISSION Minutes January 27, 1993 The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. room located in the basement at City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on January 27, 1993. The meeting commenced at 7:35 p.m. with Chairperson Melissa Kreishman presiding. Voting Members Present Melissa Kreishman, Chairperson Stephen P. Marsh, Vice Chairperson Arnold J. Kendall Carl Safe Andrea Ratner Thomas E. Kahn V oting Members Absent Charles Foxworth Council Member Present: Mary Schuman, Council Liaison Staff present: Al Goldman, Director of Planning and Frank B. Hill, Zoning Administrator Approval of Minutes Chairperson Kreishman stated that the Commission would now consider approval of the minutes from the November 24, 1992 meeting. Ms. Ratner stated that the word "is" should be removed from the fourth sentence of sixth paragraph on page 1. Mr. Safe moved for approval of the November 24, 1992 minutes as amended. The motion was seconded by Mr. Marsh and passed by a vote of 6 - O. Hearing for Resubdivision of Lots 26, 27 & 28 of Desoto Place (the three lots located west of 6547 Plymouth) Chairperson Kreishman informed those present that the Plan Commission had scheduled the hearing on an application from George and Elizabeth Fields, 6546 Julian, represented by Developer, Jerry Meyer, for resubdivision of Lots 26, 27 & 28 of Desoto Place (the three lots located west of 6547 Plymouth). The Chairperson outlined the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing resubdivision applications and called for testimony from the applicant. Developer, Jerry Meyer, 16211 Bent Tree, Chesterfield, Missouri 63005, representing the owners, George and Elizabeth Fields, appeared. Mr. Meyer presented the Commission members with a revised copy of the proposed survey of the resubdivision. Mr. Meyer stated that the three lots are located in the 6500 block of Plymouth. He wishes to combine the lots into two buildable lots. He will then purchase the lots from the Fields and build two single family homes. The homes will have approximately 1000 square feet, 3 bedrooms, partial brick fronts and gabled roofs. In response to the Staff recommendation the building lines were moved back from 20' to 25'. He stated that he wished to begin construction in June of 1993.
