<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />March 24, 1993 <br /> <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. room located in the basement at <br />City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on March 24, 1993. The meeting <br />commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Stephen P. Marsh presiding. <br /> <br />Voting Members Present <br />Stephen P. Hill, Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Chairperson Marsh stated that the Commission would now consider approval of the minutes from <br />the January 27, 1993 meeting. Mr. Safe moved for approval of the January 27, 1993 minutes. <br />The motion was seconded by Ms. Kreishman and passed by a vote of 6 - O. <br /> <br />Hearing for Resubdivision of Lot 3 of Block 6 of University View (8108 Teasdale) <br /> <br />Chairperson Marsh informed those present that the Plan Commission had scheduled the meeting <br />on an application from Lawrence Otto represented by Paul Sizemore of Realmark Properties, <br />for resubdivision of Lot 3 of Block 6 of University View (8108 Teasdale). The Chairperson <br />outlined the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing resubdivision applications and <br />called for testimony from the applicant. <br /> <br />Developer, Paul Sizemore, 20 South Central, Suite 300, Clayton, Missouri 63105, representing <br />the owner, Lawrence Otto, appeared. Mr. Sizemore presented the Commission members with <br />a copy of the proposed final plat survey of the resubdivision. Mr. Sizemore stated that 8108 <br />Teasdale is currently a 100' wide lot with a depth of 140'. He wishes to resubdivide the lot into <br />two lots. The eastern lot will be 50.30' in width and the western lot will be 49.70' in width. <br />He stated that the Zoning Administrator had made two prevailing pattern determinations that will <br />affect the resubdivision: 1) the prevailing pattern of lot widths (at the building line) is 50'; and <br />2) the prevailing pattern of side yard widths is 5'. The existing house is located on the east <br />portion of existing Lot 3, 4.70' from the middle point of the lot (50' from either side property <br />line). Therefore, the applicant requests that the dividing center property line be set .30' west <br />of center of the lot to avoid making the existing house a nonconforming use due to an <br />
