<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />January 25, 1995 <br /> <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. room located in the basement at <br />City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on January 25, 1995. The <br />meeting commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Marsh presiding. <br /> <br />V oting Members Present <br />Stephen P. John Soladar <br /> <br />Voting Members Absent <br />Charles Foxworth <br /> <br />Council Member Present: Paul Schoomer, Council Liaison <br />Staff Present: Al Goldman, Director of Planning; Frank B. Hill, Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Chairperson Marsh stated that the Commission would now consider approval of the minutes from <br />the November 16, 1994 meeting. Mr. Soladar stated that the words "Not Hill" should be <br />changed to "Nob Hill" on page 5 paragraph 2. Ms. Ratner moved for approval of the November <br />16, 1994 minutes as amended. The motion was seconded by Mr. Kahn and passed by a vote <br />of 6 to 0 with all members voting "aye." <br /> <br />Hearing for resubdivision of Lot 5 of Block B of the Bemiston Subdivision (439 N. Hanley) <br /> <br />Chairperson Marsh informed those present that the Plan Commission had scheduled the meeting <br />on an application from Rik Cannon representing the Belle Meade Corp. for resubdivision of Lot <br />5 of Block B of the Bemiston Subdivision (439 N. Hanley). The Chairperson outlined the <br />Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing resubdivision applications and called for <br />testimony from the applicant. <br /> <br />Mr. Rik Cannon representing the Belle Meade Corp., 8012 Bonhomme, Ste. 300, Clayton, MO <br />63105, stated that he has submitted a proposed final plat of a resubdivision of Lot 5 of Block <br />B of the Bemiston Subdivision (439 N. Hanley). The resubdivision will create two 50' wide lots <br />out of one 100' wide lot in order for him to develop a new home for resale on the vacant lot. <br />The existing house will remain. Mr. Cannon submitted a plat sheet of the block and argued that <br />the resubdivision will conform with the prevailing pattern of development on the block frontage. <br /> <br />Chairperson Marsh asked Mr. Goldman to report on the staff review. Mr. Goldman stated that <br />the Belle Meade Corporation, represented by Rik Cannon, has submitted a proposal to <br />resubdivide Lot 5 of Block B of the Bemiston Subdivision (439 N. Hanley). The proposed <br />resubdivision into two 50 foot wide lots does not meet the requirements of Section 29-4(d) of <br />
