<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />February 28, 1996 <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. room located in the basement at City <br />Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on February 28, 1996. The meeting <br />commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Solodar presiding. <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br />A. Smith <br />Susan Glassman <br />Staff Present <br />: Al Goldman, Director of Planning; Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairperson Solodar stated that the Commission would now consider approval of the minutes from <br />the January 24, 1996 meeting. Mr. Foxworth moved for approval of the January 24, 1996 minutes. <br />The motion was seconded by Ms. Peniston and passed by a vote of 6 to 0. <br />Resubdivision Hearing: 7050 and 7054/56 Amherst, Lots 16 and 17 of Block 10 of University <br />Park Subdivision, Boundary Adjustment <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled to hear an application from Martin Hall <br />of 7050 Amherst (3670 Park Blvd. #9, San Diego, California 92103 and Susan Mello of 7054/56 <br />Amherst for a resubdivision to adjust a one foot strip of property from Lot 17 and transfer it to Lot <br />16 of Block 10 of the University Park Subdivision. Mr. Hall was represented by Attorney, Amy <br />Boltzman, 1133 Pine Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63101. The plat was drawn by James Engineering <br />& Surveying Co., Inc., 7810 Forsyth, Ste. 300, Clayton, Missouri 63105 represented by Larry <br />Wurm. <br />The Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing resubdivision <br />applications. The Chairperson called upon the applicants. <br />Mr. Wurm gave an overview of the proposal. The result of the resubdivision will be for a 1' wide by <br />75' long strip of land running from the front building line south to the rear property line to be <br />transferred from Lot 17 to Lot 16. The property has been the subject of a civil suit filed in the St. <br />Louis County Circuit Court where Ms. Mello claims that she owns the land by adverse possession. <br />The matter has not been decided by the court but as part of a settlement agreement, the parties have <br />agreed to file this application for resubdivision of land. Ms. Mello and Ms. Boltzman gave summaries <br />of their involvement. <br /> <br />
