March 27, 1996 Plan Commission Meeting Minutes Page 5 <br />with the overall neighborhood development plan and existing zoning district provisions; and e) Will <br />provide, if applicable, off-street parking and loading areas in accordance with the standards contained <br />in the Zoning Code. Ms. Ratner moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the <br />Conditional Use Permit subject to the following condition: <br />1.Sideyards shall comply with Zoning Code Section 34-36.6,c unless otherwise approved by <br />the Board of Adjustment. <br />2.The right-of-way setback requirement shall be waived. <br />3.Signs shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the Zoning <br />Code. <br />4.Lighting fixtures shall be shaded wherever necessary to avoid casting direct light upon any <br />property located in a residential district. <br />The motion was seconded by Ms. Glassman and passed by a vote of 5 to 0, with all members voting <br />"aye." <br />Revision of the Zoning Code <br />At a special meeting held on March 13, 1996, Plan Commission members reviewed Article 4 up to <br />§34-40 from the proposed revision to the zoning code. At tonight's meeting, Plan Commission <br />members reviewed §34-40 of Article 4 and all of Article 5. Mr. Hill will contact the consultant <br />concerning questions from those review sessions and will be report back at the next meeting. Mr. <br />Solodar stated that Mr. Hill should also send out a memo stating which sections should be studied <br />for the next meeting. <br />Other Business <br />Mr. Schoomer gave an update of council activities. He announced that Byron Price had been <br />appointed to the Plan Commission to replace Andrea Ratner. He also announced that Ms. Ratner has <br />been appointed to the Board of Adjustment. <br />Adjournment <br />Ms. Ratner moved for adjournment. The motion was seconded by Mr. Kahn and passed <br />unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br />m-3-27.plc <br />
