Meeting commenced at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Minutes of previous meeting approved. <br /> <br />3. Mr. Greg Smith, lawyer for University City (from the law firnl ofHusch & <br />Eppenberger) outlined the responsibility of the City as it relates to the request to review <br />the Redevelopment Plan (see attachment for subject area) for conformity with the <br />Comprehensive Plan for University City. The Plan Commission role is to determine <br />whether the area is blighted and is consistent with the goals of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Mr. Smith indicated that one major factor in deternlining blighting is economic <br />underutilization. <br /> <br />4. The motion was approved that the subject area is blighted and is consistent with the <br />goals of the Comprehensive Plan (see resolution in attachment). Moved by Tony Credit, <br />Seconded by Larry Self, Approved unanimously. <br /> <br />5. Meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m. <br />
