PLAN COMMISSION Minutes May 24, 2006 The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the Basement Meeting Room located at Screenz Computing Center, 6680 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on May 24,2006. The meeting commenced at 6:30 p.m. with Chairperson Arbogast presiding. Voting Members Present Deborah Arbogast, Chairperson Steve Myers, Vice Chairperson Harley Smith Lynn Ricci Rosalyn Borg Charles Marentette Mike Miller Voting Members Absent John Kreishman Council Liaison Present: Byron Price, Councilperson Staff Present: Lehman Walker, Director of Planning and Development; Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator Approval of Minutes The Chairperson stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the April 26, 2006 meeting. Ms. Ricci moved for approval of the minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr. Smith and passed by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting "aye" (except Mr. Miller abstained and Mr. Marentette was not present during this agenda item). Discussion of Tree and Shrub Ordinance - Chapter 12.08 Trees and Shrubs The Chairperson announced that the discussion of the proposed Tree and Shrub Ordinance would continue. Nancy MacCartney, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry and James Crowe, Forestry Supervisor gave an overview of recent changes to the text. It was decided that a revised version of the text would be considered by the Commission at the June meeting, addressing the definition of "Development" among other minor changes. Mr. Smith asked that the current code section be included in the packets.
