It shall be the applicant’s responsibility to obtain <br />those approvals in written form in a timely manner prior to issuance of the building permit. <br />The motion was seconded by Ms. Borg and passed by a vote of 7 to 0 with all members voting <br />“aye.” <br />Hearing: Text Amendment to Section 34-102, 103.4 and 106.2 Perpendicular Signs in the <br />Loop <br />The Chairperson announced that a hearing was scheduled concerning an application from the City <br />concerning a text amendment to allow signs perpendicular to the buildings in the “CC” - Core <br />Commercial District. It was noted that the proposed text amendment was approved last month but <br />an additional restriction against internally illuminated perpendicular signs has been added and that <br />is why the application is before the commission this month. <br />Mr. Walker gave an overview of the proposal and asked that it be approved.
