Mr. Byrne motioned that the <br />conditional use permit be approved with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1.The landscaping plan is subject to review of the City Forester and must be approved <br />before the issuance of a building permit. Timing of the installation of said landscaping <br />shall be at the earliest date possible. Landscaping shall be installed and maintained in <br />accordance with the approved plan. <br /> <br />2.Drainage and grading arrangements shall be approved by the Metropolitan Sewer District <br />and the City Public Works Department prior to the issuance of a building permit by the <br />Department of Community Development. It shall be the applicant’s responsibility to <br />obtain those approvals in written form prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />3.Ingress and egress must be approved by the City Public Works Department prior to the <br />issuance of a building permit by the Department of Community Development. It shall be <br />the applicant’s responsibility to obtain those approvals in written form prior to the <br />issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />4.Lighting of all exterior areas, including all parking areas, shall comply with the <br />requirements of Section 34.93.7 of the Zoning Code, be compatible with surrounding <br />areas and be shaded to direct light downward and away from abutting uses. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Deidre Lewis and passed by a voice vote. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Update of 2005 <br /> <br />The Chairperson announced that a public hearing was scheduled for an amendment to the <br />Comprehensive Plan Update of 2005. Staff recommends the revision of Redevelopment Area 9 <br />to add five parcels (6649, 6637, 6621 Bartmer Avenue and 6630, 660 Crest Avenue) to “Areas <br />Designated for Redevelopment”. No member of the public wished to speak on this item. Ms. <br />Felton moved to approve the amendment, seconded by Mr. Marentette. The motion passed. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />Mr. Walker requested a volunteer to serve on the University City/Olivette Joint Redevelopment <br />Task Force. Ms. Felton volunteered for the task force. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:29 p.m. <br />
