Applicant: Sole and Blues, they moved <br />to a new location on the same block. <br /> <br />2.What are the proposed hours? Applicant: 11 am to 11 pm. <br /> <br />3.If approved, when does the applicant intend to open for business? Applicant: As soon as <br />possible. <br /> <br />4.Will the applicant pursue a liquor license? Applicant: Yes, but no intentions to be a bar. <br /> <br />5.Does the applicant intend to use sidewalk seating? Applicant: Yes, if allowed. <br /> <br />6.How is the start of this business funded? Applicant: Personal. <br /> <br />7.Where is parking located for employees? Applicant: Behind building. Parking garage to <br />the west. There are opportunities to purchase a spot in parking garage. <br /> <br />8.Who would the applicant consider to be the main competitors? Applicant: Subway and <br />Jimmy Johns. <br /> <br />9.Does the site provide venting? Applicant: Yes, venting is located at the side of the <br />building. <br /> <br />10.What is the capacity for indoor seating? Applicant: 40 people. <br /> <br />Staff provided the staff report and asked that it be approved. Mr. Halpert motioned that the <br />conditional use permit be approved with the following conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Outdoor dining areas and displays of merchandise shall be prohibited between November <br />15 and March 15. During this period, all portable furniture and fixtures associated with <br />outdoor dining (on-premises or on public sidewalks) shall be stored within completely <br />enclosed buildings. Outdoor dining shall be arranged in such a way so as not to inhibit <br />the safe movement of pedestrian traffic along public sidewalks. All furniture and fixtures, <br />located on public sidewalks shall be entirely portable. <br /> <br />2.Outdoor displays of merchandise shall be permitted only on private property located <br />between the frontage of a ground floor premise and the nearest public right-of-way. <br /> <br />3.A sign permit will be required prior to the installation of any signage by the tenant. <br /> <br />4.If alcoholic beverages are to be served, a liquor license shall be obtained in accordance <br />with the University City Municipal Code prior to the sale of any liquor. The hours in <br />which alcoholic beverages may be sold shall conform to the hours set forth in the liquor <br />license. <br /> <br />5.If necessary, a detailed construction traffic control and parking plan should be submitted <br />to the director of planning for approval. Said plan shall set forth details pertaining to <br />worker and resident parking during all phases of the proposed construction.
