Restrict parking on north side of 7200 block of Pershing (from Wellesley to 100 west of Rossi Ave. The attached Traffic Request Form was submitted by Larry Lieberman to the City Manager on June 10, 2003. He is requesting “No Parking” on north side of 7200 block of Pershing (from Wellesley to 100 feet west of Rossi) . This would improve safety by creating 2 driving lanes, also more convenient for residents coming and going to Waterman, Kingsbury, Washington. Residents in this block should be invited to the meeting. Therefore, this matter will appear as an agenda item for next Traffic Commission Meeting on September 10, 2003. 5. Request to make Municipal Lot #4 a safer parking lot Please see the attached Traffic Request Form submitted by Wendy Braun on June 26, 2003. She is requesting a list of ways they feel will help with safety issues in the Municipal Lot #4. Some of them warrant the Traffic Commission review but not all of them. The Engineering Division will contact Ms. Braun to get more information about this request and will notify the businesses around the area. Due to the nature of the request and the time frame (received less than 3 weeks in advance), this issue will appear as an agenda item for next Traffic Commission Meeting on September 10, 2003. 6.
