Below is a copy of the <br />agenda for the meeting. <br /> <br />Please call Sandy Weinberg at 862-6767, ext. 260, and advise her if you will not be attending the meeting. <br /> <br />AGENDA FOR THE MEETING <br /> <br />1.Traffic Engineer Assistance Program (TEAP) Study for Delmar Blvd. and Trinity Ave. <br />intersection <br />Please find attached a letter from the Public Works Department Director dated February 9, 2004. The <br />Department requests that the Traffic Commission review the recommendations and provide us with your <br />comments. <br /> <br />Also please find attached comments from councilmember Larry Lieberman for the Traffic <br />Commissioner’s consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Street Petition to make the 6500 block of Corbitt Ave, one-way going east. <br />During the February 11, 2004 Traffic Commission Meeting, the Commissioners reviewed the petition <br />from the 6500 block of Corbitt Neighborhood Association to make Corbitt Ave. (from Kingsland to <br />Sutter) a one-way street going east. <br /> <br />The commissioners recommended contacting the residents on the adjacent blocks and asking them to <br />provide their comments. <br /> <br />The Engineering Division contacted the residents, the Police and Fire Departments, and installed a traffic <br />counter for Corbitt Ave (from Kingsland to Sutter). Please find attached comments from Major Charles <br />Adams from the Police Department. <br /> <br />As of February 27, 2004, the Engineering Division has received a couple of phone calls and an email in <br />opposition to the request.
