Below is a copy of <br />the agenda for the meeting. <br /> <br />Please call Sandy Weinberg at 862-6767, ext. 260, and advise her if you will not be attending the <br />meeting. <br />AGENDA FOR THE MEETING <br /> <br /> <br />1.Street Petition for Residential Parking Permit in the 7000 block of Waterman. <br /> <br />th <br />Please find attached petition dated April 20, 2004 submitted by the residents of the 7000 block of <br />Waterman Ave for residential parking permit for both sides of the streets between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. The petition is signed by 83% of the property owners. <br /> <br />On the attached letter dated April 29, 2004 the residents stated that they have the following non- <br />residential parkers: Washington University students, “Ames Place” visitors and residents, employees of <br />the businesses at the corner of Millbrook and Big Bend, and construction workers. The following <br />inconveniences are presented: residents skipped on recycle and yard waste pick-up days, leaves not <br />collected, no space for resident’s visitors, and residents unable to unload groceries and large purchases <br />in front of their home. <br /> <br />The Engineering Division recommends to make an investigation to verify if the problems caused by <br />nonresident parking on the block are chronic and well-documented. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Intersection for Kingsland and Loop South <br /> <br />Please find attached letter dated May 7, 2004 submitted by University City East Citizen Action <br />Committee.
