If five (5) or more
“right and left” turn collisions (or right angle collisions) have occurred during the past 12 months, this
type of control may be justified.

Please find attached the police accidents reports.

The volume of traffic which enters an intersection is another guideline to determine when to use a 4-way
stop. Please check information about “When is it necessary to install a three or four-way stop?” from
the guidebook “INTRODUCTION TO TRAFFIC PRACTICES” by Missouri Highway and
Transportation Department.

Is the recommendation of the Engineering Division to deny the request.

4.No Parking on Designated hours for Washington and Trinity.

Please find attached a Traffic Request Form dated June 24, 2004 submitted by Pam Schmidt, resident at
6901 Washington Ave. She is requesting that the existing “5 minutes parking signs from 11 a.m. to
noon on school days” be changed to “NO Parking signs from 11 a.m. to noon on school days”.
