<br />th <br />Agenda-July 13, 2005 <br />Page #2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />4.Approval of the minutes from the June 8, 2005 meeting <br /> <br /> <br />5.The issues below are for your review and information and at this time are not warranted to be <br />part of the agenda items: <br /> <br />? <br /> <br />Closing of Westmont and Wayne Ave. <br /> <br />Please find attached traffic form dated June 6, 2005 submitted by Betty Lovelace, resident at <br />7624 Wayne. She is requesting that the Westmont Place and Wayne Ave. intersection should be <br />closed. <br /> <br />She stated that speeding traffic causes damages (sideswiping) to cars parked in front of 7624 <br />Wayne. <br /> <br />The Engineering Division recommends that the request be denied and to prohibit parking near <br />the intersection, in accordance with the Municipal Code. Please find sketch attached. <br /> <br /> <br />? <br /> <br />No Parking on Grant Dr. <br /> <br />Please find attached traffic form dated June 29, 2005 submitted by Erica Nelson, resident at 8300 <br />Elmore Ave. She is requesting a “no parking sign” near her garage, facing Grant Dr. <br /> <br />She stated that cars from nearby businesses park near her driveway, and it’s difficult for her to <br />get in and out of the garage. <br /> <br />There is no specification in the Municipal Code regarding parking prohibition in areas adjacent <br />to driveways. The Engineering Division recommends that the request be denied and to monitor <br />the area to prohibit public parking in the grass and in private property.
