2. Change Lindell Blvd. from a one-way to a two-way street from Forsyth Blvd. to
approximately 120 feet north of Forsyth Blvd.

The area around the intersection of Lindell and Forsyth is highly commercial. The parking lot located at
the intersection of Lindell Blvd. Forsyth Blvd is under reconstruction. The new parking lot will have just
one entrance/exit facing Lindell Blvd.

Currently, Lindell Blvd. is a one way street from Asbury Ave. to Forsyth Blvd. However, due to the
access of the parking lot at the north-west corner of Lindell and Forsyth, drivers usually turn illegally
from Forsyth onto Lindell.

Public Works recommends that Lindell Blvd. be a two-way street from Forsyth Blvd. to approximately
120 feet north of Forsyth Blvd. and that a barricade be installed at the 120 ft distance on Lindell north of
Forsyth Blvd to separate the two-way Lindell Blvd section from the one-way Lindell Blvd. section. This
will prevent drivers from continuing in the wrong direction and will visually separate the residential
portion of Lindell Blvd. from the commercial area.

Public Works notified the residents and businesses in the 7300 block of Lindell and Forsyth Blvd. of the
proposed changes and requested that they provide their comments during this meeting.

Public Works recommends that the proposed changes be approved.

3. Parking Meters near the intersection of Lindell Blvd and Forsyth Blvd

Please find a sketch attached showing locations where the City proposes to install approximately 42
parking meters. The meter locations are as follows:

Area-street Parking
spaces
Parking lot in the north west corner of Lindell and Forsyth 15
Lindell (East side) 5
Lindell (West side) 5
Del Lin (East side) 5
Forsyth (north side east of Lindell) 6
Forsyth (north side west of Lindell) 6
TOTAL 42

Public Works will notify the residents and businesses in the 7300 block of Lindell and 7300 block of
Forsyth Blvd. of the changes. Comments from the residents/business owners will be considered at the
April 9, 2008 Traffic Commission Meeting.

4.
